I've always admired these things from a far but never really looked into them... can someone tell me what all they typically do to these cars performance wise? I know from seeing them on track a few times that there is definitely a bit done, but I never knew exactly what.

It has to depend on the owners' preferences. Some would use them as show cars, others would use it as their track toys. For example, Ian King chose LS V8's in Victoria because he uses it for track days.

I think the performance mods are up to the owners. I dunno if RWB outsources or does performance mods in-house or what... Nakai's own car is pretty crazy though, so he knows his way around and engine: http://www.speedhunters.com/2013/06/nakai-…
Owners of RWB cars regularly track their cars. TI saw a mini-documentary (below) about RWB's first cars in Thailand coming to Japan for the Idlers 12-hour enduro race. All of the RWB cars finished without incident. It was impressive, Nakai and RWB are serious about racing. Still, I have no idea what they offer to their customers. So I have no answers for you but I have a cool video.

First, let me discuss that video.
How do you make a 993 more sideways? LS. I normally am a purist when it comes to stuff like that but damn. I see the RWBs as more of a statement and I find it completely okay to have a V8 stuffed in there... and I love how there is such an eclectic group of cars out there, screw the people that would be too stuck up to run their 458 next to a 240 drift car.
And secondly, that's pretty cool that they just kind of do whatever you want. Any info on whether or not they do all the work in-house or if some other shop handles their performance stuff?
